The Tingle Stone, Gloucestershire
The Tingle Stone is a Neolithic long barrow situated in the Cotswold Hills near Avening, Gloucestershire. The barrow has a mound composed of small stones orientated north-south with maximum dimensions of 125ft in length, 65ft in width and a maximum height of about 6ft. The site is named after the standing stone which is situated towards the northern end of the monument. The monument is within the council area of Cotswold (Gloucestershire).
