The Ranger's House, Kent

The Ranger's House is a Georgian mansion in the Palladian style, adjacent to Greenwich Park, Greenwich, Kent. The house, probably dating from 1722 to 1723, was originally built for Capt. Francis Hosier on wasteland adjacent to Greenwich Park. It was the official residence of the Ranger of Greenwich Park from 1816-1896, from which its current name derives. It is in the care of English Heritage. It is within the council area of Greenwich.
