The Palladian Bridge, Wiltshire

The Palladian Bridge is an 18th-century limestone bridge carrying a turfed track over the west arm of Garden Lake on the Stourhead estate, Wiltshire. It was built in 1762 for Henry Hoare. The design was taken from Leoni's The Architecture of Palladio, Book III, published in 1721. The bridge is within the council area of Wiltshire.
