The Nine Stones, Cornwall
The Nine Stones is a prehistoric stone circle situated on Ridge hill on eastern Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. The stone circle is visible as a setting of eight granite slabs, ranging from 3ft to 4ft high, their bases spaced 18ft to 30ft apart about a near-circular course 50ft in diameter. At least two stones are believed to have been removed from the circle since the 18th century. The monument is within the council area of Cornwall.
