The Mount, Oxfordshire

The Mount is a Bronze Age bell barrow at Churchill, Oxfordshire. The barrow mound measures 36ft in diameter and stands up to 7ft high. A level 6ft-wide berm around the base of the mound is surrounded by a quarry ditch from which the material for construction was obtained. The monument is within the council area of West Oxfordshire (Oxfordshire).
