The Mount is a Norman motte castle near Oxted, Surrey. The steep-sided mound has a diameter of around 200ft and stands 30ft above the surrounding land. The small, flat top is likely to have provided the site for a single building or tower. It was previously though to be a prehistoric burial mound. The monument is within the council area of Tandridge (Surrey).
