The Manor House, Huntingdonshire

The Manor House is a moated two-storey Norman manor house in Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire. The house, one of the oldest continuously inhabited houses in Britain, was built around 1130 by Payn Osmundsen, a tenant of Aubrey de Vere. It is famous for being the home of children's author Lucy M. Boston, who used the house as the setting for her classic Green Knowe book series. It is within the council area of Huntingdonshire (Cambridgeshire).
