The Long Causeway, Lancashire

The Long Causeway is a packhorse track in the parish of Cliviger in Lancashire. It was the ancient way to travel from Burnley to Yorkshire. It survives for much of its original route and began on the west side of Towneley Park in Burnley, continuing through Mereclough, and across the Yorkshire border into Calderdale. It is within the council area of Burnley (Lancashire).
