The Knap, Glamorgan

The Knap (also known as 'Cold Knap') is a district of Barry, Glamorgan. A popular seaside area with a long pebble beach, the area was used by the Romans as a port, and the remains of a Roman villa are a scheduled monument. The remains of Barry Castle are also here. It is within the council area of The Vale of Glamorgan.
