The Homewood, Surrey

The Homewood is a 1938 modernist house near Esher, Surrey. It was designed by architect Patrick Gwynne for his parents. The Homewood was Gwynne's first house project, at age 24, and his lasting favourite. He lived in the house until his death in 2003, giving the house to the National Trust in 1999. It is within the council area of Elmbridge (Surrey).
