The Hall, Derbyshire
The Hall is a country house in Great Longstone, Derbyshire. Built in 1747, the more prominent Georgian section of the house was built for John Wright. The Hall is noted for its classical Georgian architecture, with mellow brick and stone dressings. Its south and east elevations feature tall sash windows, and the interior is decorated with period details like wood panelling. Restoration work took place in 1929 by Sir Hubert Worthington. It is within the council area of Derbyshire Dales (Derbyshire).
