The Hale, Middlesex

The Hale is a suburban area where eastern part of Edgware meets the western part of Mill Hill, in Middlesex. The area was the location of the hamlets of Upper Hale and Lower Hale well into the 20th century. In the late 1920s the area was developed into the Hale estate, and hence the area became 'The Hale'. It is within the council area of Barnet.
