The Giant's Grave, Wiltshire
The Giant's Grave is a Bronze Age bell barrow near Aldbourne, Wiltshire. It has a mound 65ft in diameter and 6ft in height. A late 19th century excavation by Canon Greenwell recorded an adult cremation, two bone pins and a fragment of a barbed and tanged arrowhead. A group of four bowl barrows lie to the west of the bell barrow, forming a rough alignment along the spine of a chalk ridge. The monument is within the council area of Wiltshire.
