The George Inn is a public house established in the mediæval period on Borough High Street in Southwark, Surrey. It is the only surviving galleried London coaching inn. A pub has existed on the site since mediæval times. In 1677, it was rebuilt after a serious fire destroyed most of Southwark. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Southwark.
