The Devil's Ditch, Sussex
The Devil's Ditch is an Iron Age linear boundary feature running from Lavant to Boxgrove in Sussex. It is part of a group of linear earthworks on the gravel plain between the foot of the South Downs and Chichester Harbour. The Devil’s Ditch is thought to date to the Late Iron Age but was recut and extended in places during the mediæval period. It is within the council area of Chichester (West Sussex).
