The Castle, Devon

The Castle is a prehistoric univallate hillfort situated on a prominent ridge overlooking the Caen Valley, near Braunton, Devon. The hillfort survives as an oval enclosure measuring up to 540ft long by 395ft wide internally, defined by a single rampart and buried outer ditch. It is within the council area of North Devon (Devon).
