The Bede House, Rutland

The Bede House (or Lyddington Bedehouse) is a historic house in Lyddington, Rutland. The house is a part of a mediæval palace of the Bishops of Lincoln, later used as an almshouse. The Watchtower, or "Bishop's Eye", is a two-storey tower set into the garden wall of the palace. It is within the council area of Rutland.
