Terwick AP, Sussex
Terwick is an ancient parish in Sussex. Its area forms part of the Rogate CP. The parish appears always to have been sparsely populated without any central settlement. St Peter's Church church stands a little way from the present route of the A272, separated by a field with lupins which is now in National Trust ownership and until after World War II formed part of the rector’s glebe. St Peter's is a small two-cell church, probably 11th- or 12th-century in origin. The ancient parish is within the council area of Chichester (West Sussex).
