Temple Mills, Essex / Middlesex

Temple Mills is an urban area to the west of Stratford, lying along the old course of the Waterworks River, partly in Essex and partly in Middlesex. Temple Mills were water mills belonging to the Knights Templar, straddling the river. The area is now the location of the Lee Valley VeloPark. The area is within the council areas of Newham and Hackney.
