Taughmonagh is an urban area in the south-west of Belfast, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Malone Upper, in the civil parish of Shankill. The original "Tin Town" estate of aluminium bungalows was built in the late 1940s to address the post-war housing shortage. These were replaced with red brick houses during the 1980s. Taughmonagh is within the council area of Belfast.
