Tarn House, Cumberland

Tarn House is a farmhouse, and formerly a 15th-century tower house, in Cumberland. It is located by the south side of Tindale Tarn. The farmhouse dates from the late 15th century when it was built as a tower house for Humphrey, Lord Dacre. It was substantially extended and altered in 1843. It is within the council area of Cumberland.
