Sutton Walls, Herefordshire
Sutton Walls is an Iron Age hillfort near Sutton St Michael, Herefordshire. The fort is regarded by some as the location of the palace of Offa of Mercia. According to the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle it was at Sutton Walls where Offa arranged Æthelberht II of East Anglia to be murdered. It is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
