Straw Barrow, Dorset
Straw Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow near Shapwick, Dorset. The barrow is one of a dispersed group of barrows on the former Shapwick Common Down. The barrow has a mound, 160ft in diameter and 1ft high, surrounded by a quarry ditch from which material was excavated during its construction. It is within the council area of Dorset.
