Strathfoyle, Londonderry
Strathfoyle is a large village, lying on the eastern bank of the River Foyle in County Londonderry. It is within the townlands of Lisnahawley, Enagh and Coolkeeragh, in the civil parish of Clondermot. The area was used as a base for Allied troops during World War II. In the 1950s it was established as a housing estate. Subsequent decades have seen many durther developments. The village is within the council area of Derry City and Strabane.
