Stony Weir, Dorset

Stony Weir is a stone weir at the junction of the River Frome and a mill stream near Bindon Abbey in Dorset. The weir is a stone structure with nine pointed arches. Its date is uncertain though it was referred to as "The Old Stony Weir" in a 17th-century document. It is within the council area of Dorset.
