Stoke Bishop is a former hamlet that is now an outer north-western suburb of Bristol, Gloucestershire. Stoke House, built in 1669 for Sir Robert Cam, is now an educational establishment. The area remained predominantly rural until the mid 20th century, since when it has seen substantial suburban development. It is within the council area of Bristol.
