Stapleford Castle, Wiltshire
Stapleford Castle is mediæval ringwork and bailey castle, surviving as earthworks by the River Till near Stapleford, Wiltshire. The bank of the ringwork is 10 feet high internally and rises 20 feet above the bottom of the surrounding ditch. It is between 200 and 300 feet in diameter. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
