Stapenhill, Derbyshire
Stapenhill is a suburban village in Derbyshire. It lies on the east bank of the River Trent, across from Burton-on-Trent, of which it is now often considered a suburb. The village dates back to Saxon times. It was known for its brickyards in the 18th and 19th centuries. Stapenhill Park (1933) comprises the former site of Stapenhill House. Stapenhill is within the council area of Burton upon Trent (Staffordshire).
