Stanwell Moor, Middlesex

Stanwell Moor (or Stanwellmoor) is a village in the Spelthorne area of Middlesex, lying on the east bank of the River Colne. The settlement developed around the moor itself, separate from the village of Stanwell, a mile to its east. The village is now almost surrounded by the M25 motorway, the A3133 dual carriageway and King George VI reservoir. It is within the council areas of Spelthorne district and Surrey county council.
