Stanpit, Hampshire
Stanpit is a village in Hampshire. It is situated on the shore of Christchurch Harbour. Stanpit Marsh is a mixture of habitats including areas of salt marsh, reed beds, freshwater marsh, gravel estuarine banks and sandy scrub. Following 20th-century development, the village is now contiguous with Christchurch to its north-west. It is within the council area of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
