Much of Stane Street has been incorporated into modern-day roads or still exists as paths, byways and tracks. Much of the route lies on the present-day A120, including to the west of Little Hadham, Hertfordshire. This stretch of Stane Street is within the council area of East Hertfordshire (Hertfordshire).
