Stainsby, Yorkshire
Stainsby is a hamlet which forms the remnant of a deserted village in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. Stainsby Grange Farm, Stainsby Hall Farm and Stainsby Hill Farm retain the deserted village's name. The earthworks remains of the village lie to the south and south-east of Stainsby Grange Farm. The hamlet is within the council area of Middlesbrough.
