St Stephens, Hertfordshire
St Stephens is a former hamlet that now forms an urban area in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The former hamlet developed around St Stephen's Church which itself is believed to have originally been built around AD948 to prepare pilgrims for their visit to the shrine of St Alban within St Albans Abbey. It is within the council area of St Albans (Hertfordshire).
