St Peter's Pump, Wiltshire

St Peter's Pump is a mediæval water pump and grotto in Stourhead Park, Wiltshire. The pump was constructed in 1474 and formerly stood above St Edith's Well near St Peter's Church, Bristol, Gloucestershire. It was removed in 1766, and erected in 1768 by Henry Hoare in Stourhead Park at Six Wells Bottom on a grotto base over one of the springs that form the source of the River Stour. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
