St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh

St Patrick's Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral, located in the town of Armagh, County Armagh. It was built in phases between 1840 and 1904 to serve as the Roman Catholic cathedral of the Archdiocese of Armagh, the original mediæval Cathedral of St Patrick having been appropriated by the Church of Ireland during the Irish Reformation. The cathedral, which features twin 210 ft spires, is located on Sandy Hill, across from the Church of Ireland's cathedral. The cathedral is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
