St Moluag's Cathedral, Argyllshire

St Moluag's Cathedral (aka Lismore Kirk) is a Church of Scotland church on the island of Lismore, Argyllshire. St Moluag (d. 592) founded a monastery on the island. It was a major centre of Christianity in Scotland, and the seat of the later mediæval bishopric of Argyll. The cathedral was built in the 13th century. The present-day church was developed from the choir of the mediæval cathedral in 1749. It is within the council area of Argyll and Bute.
