St Mirin's Cathedral, Renfrewshire
St Mirin's Cathedral (Cathedral Church of Saint Mirin in Paisley) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Paisley, Renfrewshire. It is the mother church of the Catholic Diocese of Paisley. It was formally opened in a solemn mass in 1932 and was raised to cathedral status in 1948. The building, designed by Thomas Baird, is in neo-Romanesque style with a plain sandstone exterior and an airy arched interior. It is within the council area of Renfrewshire.
