St Michael's Mount, Cornwall
St Michael's Mount is a tidal island in Mount's Bay, just off the coast of Marazion, Cornwall. An ancient, man-made pathway crafted from granite setts connects the island to Marazion at low tide. Perched at the peak of the island’s granite crags, the 12th-century castle evolved from a historic priory into a fortified stronghold and a romantic Gothic mansion. The Church of St Michael and All Angels dates from the 15th century. The island is in the council area of Cornwall.
