St Mary's Guildhall, Lincolnshire

St Mary's Guildhall is a former Royal palace and later guildhall, dating from the 12th century, located on the High Street in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. The Guildhall is believed to have been built as a Royal palace of Henry II and completed by 1157. In 1251 the building was sold to the guild of St Mary of Lincoln. It remained in the ownership of the guild until 1547, since when it has had many uses. It is within the council area of Lincoln (Lincolnshire).
