St Mary's Church, Yorkshire

St Mary's Church is a ruined 13th-century church at Brignall, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The church was largely demolished in 1833 when a new church was built. The ruin lies in a romantic setting by the River Greta and has been the subject of a painting by Turner. It is within the council area of County Durham.
