St John's Cathedral, Hampshire
St John's Cathedral (formally the Cathedral Church of St John the Evangelist) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Portsmouth, Hampshire. It is the seat of the Bishop of Plymouth. It was designed in Gothic Revival style by John Crawley and constructed in 1882 in Fareham Red Brick with Portland stone dressings. In 1900, Bishop John Cahill completed the cathedral by adding the west front. The bell towers, designed by Canon Alexander Scoles, were added in 1906. St Patrick's Chapel was added in 1924. The cathedral is within the council area of Portsmouth.
