St John's, Surrey
St John's is a suburban village in Surrey. The village dates largely from the 19th century, when housing first began to be constructed to accommodate workers employed at the local brickworks. It is named from St John the Baptist's church built in 1842. It is now contiguous with Woking and effectively forms a western suburb of the town. It is within the council area of Woking (Surrey).
