St Edith's Well, Staffordshire
St Edith's Well is a holy well, situated at the western corner of a field near Church Eaton, Staffordshire. A rectangular structure built of red sandstone ashlar blocks includes five steps which lead down to a water-filled rectangular basin. The well is associated with the Anglo-Saxon St Edith. There is a likely association with St Editha’s Church in Church Eaton. It is within the council area of Stafford (Staffordshire).
