St Chad's Cathedral, Warwickshire
St Chad's Cathedral (formally the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Chad) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Birmingham, Warwickshire. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Birmingham. Designed by A.W.N. Pugin, it was built from red brick in a German Gothic style between 1839 and 1841. It was raised to cathedral status in 1852. The cathedral is considered a landmark in Pugin’s oeuvre. It is within the council area of Birmingham.
