St Anne's on the Sea, Lancashire
St Anne's on the Sea (often just St Anne's and sometimes spelt without the apostrophe) is a resort town in Lancashire, on the Fylde coast. It also forms part of the larger town of Lytham St Anne's. It was a 19th-century planned town, with an official founding ceremony on 31 March 1875. It retains much of its original character of a traditional Victorian seaside resort with up-market hotels, a sandy beach, donkeys, a small pier and ice cream stalls. The town is within the council area of Fylde (Lancashire).
