St Ann's Well, Devon
St Ann's Well is the remains of a mediæval holy well at Holwell, Devon. The site of the well appears as a marshy depression in the corner of a field. The depression contains two concrete tanks which catch the water for farm purposes; the southern tank is constructed within a sunken stone-walled enclosure, built around a natural spring. The well is believed to be associated with the nearby 15th-century chapel of St Ann. It is within the council area of South Hams (Devon).
