Spring Farm Rath, Antrim

Spring Farm Rath is a rath, located on the outskirts of the town of Antrim, County Antrim. The monument consists of a circular earthen mound rising irregularly to a summit which is up to 11ft above the enclosing ditch. The mound is planted with ornamental beech, sycamore and Scots pine trees. The broad, deep ditch which encircles the site is well preserved. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Antrim and Newtownabbey.
