South Mimms, Middlesex
South Mimms is a village in Middlesex. It now lies just north of the junction of the M25 and A1(M) motorways and its name is best known from the nearby South Mimms motorway service area. The Grange was home to Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands during the Second World War. Saint Giles Church has a 13th-century chancel. South Mimms Castle is the remains of motte-and-bailey castle. It is within the council areas of Hertsmere district and Hertfordshire county council.
