South Elmsall, Yorkshire
South Elmsall is a town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The town was a small farming settlement until the sinking of collieries in the 19th century caused a boom in population. The town forms a contiguous urban area with Moorthorpe and South Kirkby to its west. The town is within the council area of Wakefield.
