South Dyke, Yorkshire
South Dyke is an ancient linear earthwork, part of the Aberford Dykes earthworks, located to the north-east of Aberford, Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The Aberford Dykes lie north and south of Cock Beck with the modern village of Aberford at their approximate centre. The dykes are believed to have even been constructed during the Roman period or the early post-Roman period. South Dyke remains visible as three sections of earthworks. The monument is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
